The workshop presented four case studies of 20th Century cities from across the world: Tel Aviv (Israel), Brasilia (Brazil), Le Havre (France) and Chandigarh (India), all of which are a testimony to the modern movement changing the approach to urban planning and design. The technical sessions included discussions on issues of urban heritage, methods for conservation of urban heritage and the process for becoming a World Heritage City. The workshop concluded with the Chandigarh City Administration signing the charter of the IHCN membership.
