NGOs and Individuals
|
Responsibilities:
|
| a) |
Work towards achieving the Network's objectives and contribute to the its activities.
|
| b) |
Develop specific activities in the remit of IHCN’s objectives.
|
| c) |
Provide expertise in conducting capacity building and training programmes for officials and technical staff of the member cities.
|
| d) |
Support the Network in developing and conducting thematic events and research related to heritage conservation and urban planning.
|
| e) |
Support the Network’s programme and collaborative initiatives with member cities.
|
| f) |
Share relevant information about heritage-related studies, research activities and good practices with the Network secretariat and thus contribute to the Network's public database.
|
| g) |
Support the activities of the Network from time to time during the course of this agreement.
|

|
Membership Fee:
|
|
There is no financial contribution from the NGO/Individual Members. However, the following in-kind support is mandatory under the Agreement:
|
| a) |
Participate in capacity building and training programmes held by IHCN and its partners on urban heritage conservation, management tools and techniques
|
| b) |
Participate in IHCN workshops, seminars and conferences
|
| c) |
Extend support in the establishment of a Heritage Committee for the Indian member city where the NGO is located
|
